Espiridiona “Peggy” Sullivan, 70, passed with her husband by her side on Saturday, March 6, 2021. She was born on January 10, 1951 in Pleasanton, Texas to her parents Frank and Alcadia Zavala. She gave 25 years of service to the Dallas Public Library. Peggy brought life and joy to every single person she met; She had a magnetic personality that drew everyone to her instantly. Peggy loved tending to her garden, traveling as much as she could, shopping as much as she could, but more than anything, her family.
She is survived by her husband, James; her brother, Armando Zavala, and his wife Angie; her brother, David Zavala, and his wife Herlinda; her sister, Anna Ramirez, and her husband Victor. She is also survived by her son, Raymond Mata, and his wife Jean; her daughter, Connie Ward, and her husband Roger; her daughter, Beth Cooper, and her husband Shane; her son, Michael Sullivan; her 12 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren. There will never be a day where Peggy is not missed, she was the heart and soul of our family and she will always live within all of us.
