Evan Alan Moore's Obituary
Evan Alan Moore, 18, passed away on December 26, 2023.
Born in Dallas, Texas, he was the son of Tamara Smith and Kelvin Moore. He graduated from Dr. R.W. Goines Stem Academy on his birthday, May 26, 2023 and was a freshman at the University of North Texas, Denton where he majored in Kinesiology and minored in Psychology.
During his time at the University of North Texas, he helped form a bible study group that would not only aid in him growing his relationship with God, but would also bring others to grow closer to God. Evan was a beloved member of the University of North Texas Women's Basketball Team as a practice player and also a member of the University of North Texas Men's Club Basketball Team. Evan will always be remembered by his great love for his mother, family, friends and the game of basketball. A positive light that will never fade. May the impact that those who experienced the life and love of Evan continue to take hold and multiply so that we may all see him again. As Evan would always say with no hesitation, "Jesus loves you."
Evan is survived by his mother(Tamara), father(Kelvin), grandparents(Patti and Everett), aunt(Mia) and uncle(Mark).
The funeral service will be held on January 6, 2024 at 11:00 a.m. at Koinonia Christian Church 2455 SE Green Oaks Blvd, Arlington, Tx 76018 with interment at Grand Prairie Memorial Gardens 3001 S Belt Line Rd, Grand Prairie, Tx 75052. The viewing will be held from 10:00 a.m. to the time of the service.
