Gloria Overton's Obituary
It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Gloria Overton, who left this earthly vessel peacefully on March 9, 2025 at the age of 72 in Mansfield, Texas. Gloria was born on September 21, 1952 in Altoona, Pennsylvania, and lived a full life as a believer; serving the Lord as a loving woman, wife and mother. Those who knew her would agree that when in doubt, you could find Gloria making delicious meals from her favorite recipes and finding joy in reminiscing on some of the fleeting moments that life brings.
She is survived by her husband of 52 years, William L. Overton Jr. (retired U.S. military veteran) and her children, Margel Overton, Amber Rogers, and Aaron Overton. Her grandchildren are Raine-Margel Martin Overton, Mayan-Jae Austin Overton, Isai-Selah Austin Overton, Kya Rogers, and Brielle Rogers. She is also survived by a host of loving siblings, nieces, nephews, and other relatives who will cherish her memory.
A visitation will be held at Mansfield Funeral Home & Cremations 1556 Heritage Pkwy. Mansfield, Tx. 76063 on March 14, 2025, at 8:00 am. A Celebration of Life will be held at Mansfield Funeral Home & Cremations 1556 Heritage Pkwy. Mansfield, TX 76063 on March 14, 2025, at 9:00 am. The burial will follow at Dallas Fort Worth National Cemetery.
