Hector Cervantes' Obituary
Hector Cervantes, beloved son, brother, father, husband and, friend, passed away from this Earth and returned to our Heavenly Father at age 54. Born to Jose and Maria Elena Cervantes in Chicago, IL on September 14, 1963, Hector grew up a curious and happy child, gifted in all things mechanical. Hector’s love and abilities in repairing cars and motorcycles allowed him to spend his early career in automotive repair. Hector’s adventurous spirit called him to the road and as a truck driver, Hector visited every state in the United States as well as various areas in Canada and Mexico.
Hector lived free, taught those around him all he knew and shared all he had to give without reservation. If you knew him, he made you stronger. If you laughed with him, he made your life better. If you shared your worries with him, he did all he could to get you through difficult times. He was always surrounded by friends and family and is survived by many who love and cherish his free spirit.
