My favorite memory involves the kindness of Jones family who allowed my brother to stay at their home while he attended school. Stanley discovered a slice of chocalate cake. He asked Mr Jones if he could have the cake. Mr Jones was surprised saying cake I did not know we had cake. Later Carol discovered her hidden cake was gone. Before Carol could get to mad Mr Jones said “ We do not hide food, plus if I known the cake was in the refrigerator i would have eaten.” Sharing he always shared. I will forever remember and cherish all the years and time with my cousin James and cousin Earnestine along with Carol and Jimmy. Cousin James encourage me to have a passion for poetry and writing.
