James Dale Robertson's Obituary
James Dale Robertson, 80, passed away peacefully Monday September 12, 2016 with his family by his side.
Dale was born in Tyler, Texas on April 15, 1936. He proudly served his country in the United States Air Force. He married Dolores Coker on November 28, 1958 in Dallas. Dale retired from Miller Brewing Company after 31 years. He enjoyed golf and fishing during his free time in his earlier years.
Graveside service to be held Sep. 30, 2016 at DFW National Cemetery at 10:30am with military honors.
Dale was preceded in death by his parents, Venie and Gladys Robertson; two brothers, Gerald and Ray; one sister, Mary Dee Roland.
Dale is survived by his wife of 57 years, Dolores; their son, Jackie and his wife Stephanie of Grand Prairie; their daughter, Janie Lance and her husband Eddie of Austin; five grandchildren – Jason Robertson of Hurst, Tiffany Robertson of Grand Prairie, Dustin Lance of Austin, Christopher Lance and his wife Autumn of College Station, and Victoria Lance of Cypress; and one great-granddaughter, Emily Cain of Grand Prairie. Dale has two brothers – Bill and his wife Shirley of Idaho; Dean and his wife Kay of Tyler. Additionally, he is survived by Jason and Tiffany’s mother, Tracy Robertson of Hurst; and SSG Logan Brightwell and his wife Amber of Kansas.
Interrment will be at a later date in Dallas-Fort Worth National Cemetary with full military honors.
