James Skipper's Obituary
James Aubrey Skipper (Jim), 50, of Arlington, passed away on December 31st in Houston, Texas.
Funeral services will be held at 11 AM, Saturday, January 7th at Mansfield Funeral Home in Mansfield, Texas. Burial will follow at Ty Cemetery in Burleson. Arrangements are by Mansfield Funeral Home.
Jim was born in Montgomery, Alabama to Gene and Kathy Skipper on March 6, 1972. He went to school in Fort Worth. He married Lisa Gullick Skipper on December 21st, 2001, in Ft. Worth. He graduated from The University of Texas at Arlington. He worked as a programmer analyst for Greyhound Lines for over 14 years.
Jim is preceded in death by his father Gene Skipper, his brother Justin Skipper and his stepfather Roger McDonald.
Jim is survived by his wife Lisa Gullick Skipper, his sons Jackson Skipper and Jacob Skipper, his brother and wife Jason Skipper and Jennifer Smith, half brother Michael Elliot and his mother Kathy Skipper.
Pallbearers will be Rick Busby, Ryan Call, Michael Ramsey, Jason Skipper, Ray Edens, and John Nara.
In lieu of flowers the family asks that donations be made in Jim’s name to the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society.
