Jean was most caring and awesome person to work with. I always looked forward the nights she was on cause I knew the shift will go smoothly. This world will be missing a wonderful, caring awesome person. She will be greatly missed.

Jeannie and I besides being Oreana neighbors worked together at the Oreana Cafe! She was always so much fun! I remember her coming in with her fiancé Charles. My condolences and prayers to the family for their loss!

Jean and I met in seventh grade when Argenta and Oreana grade school merged for Jr. High at the High School. We had a lot of fun together. In high school we both took Latin and she took French, also. And, we didn't stop there. We kept going and took Latin II, III, and IV. The Latin IV textbook was written for doctoral students. The lessons consisted of translating the Aeneid into English, which we both felt had already been done quite nicely many, many years before. So, we went straight to the school librarian and hunted down the translated book. The problem was our copy of the book never seemed to match Mrs. Eddy's. She had her very own translation.
Jean and I worked the summer of '69 at the Oreana Cafe with Nancy Sheraden and had a great time. We lost touch for a while but several years ago we both returned to the area and it was like we were never apart. Jean was a terrific friend and confidante. She will always have a special place in my heart. Remember, Jean, if you can't behave in heaven, don't get caught.

Jeanie, one of my childhood mentors!
She was as,a neighbor one of the best.
Her love, laughter and caring , has been shared with many.
I will always , fondly remember her , at the glimpse of a sweat pea… it’s her turn to rest.
So very very sorry to hear we have lost her. She was always a great person.
