That smile says it all. I have never seen Jimmy without a smile on his face. Jimmy's smile would warm your heart and light up the room. I will miss that smile but will carry it in my heart forever because it is extremely rare to meet such a beautiful soul.
I met Jimmy and Helen at New Friendship Baptist Church as a little girl. Jimmy was one of my first male mentors. He treated me as one of his children, and never failed to display Godly traits. When I was distressed, he was a voice of reason. When I doubted myself, he was reassurance. When I made questionable choices, he contined to display agape love. He was one of my first examples of walking out scripture in my life. I will miss his physical presence and warm greetings but I will forever carry the christian principles that he modeled in my life. I love the entire family and will always be near if needed.
