I knew Mr. Harrison from our neighborhood on Telephone Rd. in Pascagoula, MS . I purchased my 1st set of Encyclopedias (World Book Golden Edition) and my first Bible from him at a price for $ 125.00 this was back in 1963 during my freshman year at Carver High School in Pascagoula, MS
I had the pleasure of meeting and working along side, Mr. John when he was a very active member of the DFW Alumni Chapter. My prayers are with the family during this time. Gone, but never forgotten!💛💜💛💜💛💜

I will always remember John D as a loyal friend and an astute businessman. I will always cherish the fact that John helped me to obtain my mortgage broker license and walked me through the purchase of my forever home. I will miss his dry wit, his quick smile and his beautiful tenor voice. Another mighty oak has fallen.
