Kathy D'Ann Lindley's Obituary
Kathy D’Ann Lindley was the third child of Wilmer C. Lindley, Sr., and Kathleen James Lindley, born on August 25, 1971, in Freestone County, Texas.
Kathy grew up in Lancaster, Texas, and graduated from Lancaster High School with the class of 1989. Kathy went on to Prairie View A&M University and graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology and a minor in Social Work. In 1998, she pledged Omega Gamma. She was also a member of the Graduate Chapter, Upsilon Nu Zeta Chapter. Kathy was employed by Dallas Independent School District from 2002 to present.
On December 9, 2017, Kathy entered into eternal rest at her home. She was preceded in death by her grandfathers, Travis James and Levi Lindley; grandmothers, Neulean Lindley and Mattie M. James; three aunts, Marjorie James, Era James, and Joy Plesant; and uncles, Henry James, Roger James and Raymond James.
Those who will cherish her memory most are her father and mother, Wilmer C. Lindley, Sr., of North Richland Hills, Texas, and Kathleen James Lindley of Lancaster, Texas; her sister, Shan R. Lindley of McKinney, Texas; her brothers, Wilmer C. Lindley, Jr., and wife, Martha, of DeSoto, Texas, and Sarae C. Lindley of Houston Texas; aunts, Brenda Tutt of Teague, Texas, Lynn and Marvin Houston of Forest Hills, Texas, Helen Lindley of Arlington, Texas, Mamie Lindley-Brown and Fred of DeSoto, Texas, Judy Lindley of Jasper, Texas, and Ora and Ray Brown of Austin, Texas; uncles, Bobby James of Dallas, Texas, Neothies Lindley of Jasper, Texas, Roy Lindley of Dallas, Texas, and D.L. and Lee Lindley of Upper Marlboro, Maryland; her special friends, Akeelah Webb, Tiffani Thomas, LaTyon Henderson, Nire Barnes, and Jordan Sinclair; and a host of other relatives and friends.
