My cousin, Emanuel Oliver, just informed me of the homegoing of his brother, Kenneth Paul Oliver. Both these men are sons of my first cousin, Willie Oliver. Condolences are extended to Kenneth's family from all the Oliver family members in southern Texas.

Ken was a dear friend that I connected with and loved since the day I met him. His dry sense of humor and wit made me think for a few seconds before I would LOL at the things he would say. When we went looking at large screen TV's he asked the salesman what is your largest flat screen TV. The salesman said 82", and asked Ken what size he was looking for? With a straight face Ken said 200". I laughed as I know he was joking, and reminded him that he does not have a wall largest in his new home to accommodate that large of TV.
My wife and I are Realtors and sold Ken his new home in Arlington. We had many laughs and finally found the perfect home for him. We were do happy that he was settled.
I will miss Ken terribly, and will focus on the wonderful, kind, considerate and humble man he was. Although he left us too soon, he is with G-D which is who he would have wanted to be with if he could not be with his precious daughters Sonja and
Tonya. They were, and always will be his pride and joy.

My God is awesome! As the great uncle of my two children I come with love and prayers and tears of sadness. I remember meeting him with his joking words. My daughter Aliyah loved him and remembers his jokes and going to his house for gatherings. Uncle Ken known to myself and my kids will be greatly missed. To God be the praise. RIP Sending love peace and understanding to his daughters my children Aliyah and Michael Donnie Kay and Kim and the rest of his loving family.
