Kevin Julius Pallos' Obituary
Kevin J. Pallos passed away suddenly and unexpectedly on May 30, 2022 in Mansfield, TX.
Kevin was born on December 29, 1958 in Johnstown, PA to Doris Meese and Julius Pallos. After high school, Kevin honorably served in the United States Army, HHC, 3rd Battalion, 60th Infantry and 4th Battalion 23rd Infantry from 1976-1981. Kevin completed the rigorous Ranger training program and earned the Army Commendation Medal (First Oak Leaf Cluster) as well as the Humanitarian Service Medal. Kevin’s experience in the Army played an important role in his life. He frequently shared how his days in the Army taught him the value of hard work, discipline and commitment. These qualities contributed to the many successes he had throughout his life.
Kevin earned a Bachelors in Metallurgical Engineering from the University of Pittsburgh, a Masters in Materials Engineering from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute and an Executive Masters of Business Administration from the University of Connecticut. He was a certified Six Sigma Master Black Belt and held many other academic, trade and business distinctions.
Kevin’s civilian career included roles at General Electric, Pratt and Whitney, Triumph Group and, most recently, ProEnergy in Sedalia, MO as Vice President, Supply Chain. He was a tenacious problem solver, technical expert, and proven leader.
Kevin loved traveling the world, riding his Harley Davidson motorcycle, classic car restoration and sports. He was an avid Pittsburgh sports fan but had a special place in his heart for the Pittsburgh Penguins. He was an active member of Creekwood Church in Mansfield TX.
Kevin is survived by his brother, Terry Pallos, spouse of 14 years Genna Martini and four children, Justin Pallos, Jacqueline Pallos, Emerie Pallos and Aubrey Pallos. Kevin will be missed dearly by his family and friends, who are devastated by his untimely passing. We love you 3000!
