Lane DeWitt Lynn's Obituary
Lane DeWitt Lynn, aged 36, passed away on July 18th, 2024. He was born February 16th, 1988 to Larry and Tammy Lynn in Denton, TX and married to Michelle Lynn, wife of 14 years. Together they brought two beautiful baby boys into this world, Logan DeWitt and Lincoln Derek.
Above all, Lane loved spending time with his family and traveling to the mountains or to the beach. He enjoyed traveling and experiencing new adventures with Michelle. He had a passion for cooking and liked to share his love through culinary aspirations. But most importantly he cherished Sunday afternoons spending quality time and relaxation at home with his family.
Lane took great pride in leadership and his work ethic. He devoted a great deal of his adult life to building a professional career in logistics; just recently surpassing his 5th year at Logistics Plus as a Senior ERP Specialist.
With Lane’s recent proclamation to God, he began to put God first in his house and lead by example through Jesus Christ for his wife and children. He was best known as kind, attentive, compassionate, and humble. He dedicated quality time to his children as well as supported their goals and aspirations in every way possible. He wanted to show Lincoln and Logan the path to God and use his story and life struggles to prove that by the grace of God, you can be whole and filled with happiness.
Lane’s memory is lovingly cherished by: his wife and kids, Michelle, Logan and Lincoln Lynn. Mother and step-father, Tammy and Robert Douglas. Father and step-mother, Larry and Sheila Lynn. Sister, Brieana Lynn. Sister and brother-in-law, Maddie and Karsten Wells. Sister, brother-in-law and niece, Melody, Lance and Harper Hefner. As well as a host of aunts, uncles, cousins and grandparents.
Come to me, all of you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. 29 Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, because I am lowly and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. 30 For my yoke is easy and my burden is light.
Matthew 11:28-30
