REMEMBERING THE LOVE Mrs Curtis shared. The many times I've asked for advice as a young mother and wife she freely gave asking for nothing in return.Such a wonderful person so selfless full of positivity and kindness I love you Mrs Curtis -Latricia aka Purple
Met Laura thru her son Rico and we became family when Rico and Rebecca got married in 2005. Laura had such love and passion for her family, would attend Rico's Arena Football games, would cook fabulous meals and would set a beautiful table. We had good times. I was sad to see them leave San Diego, CA, but respected their decision, as it was time for that next season in her life. So glad I got to visit her in the beautiful home that she and Ricky built in Texas, and so glad I saw her on her last visit to San Diego last year. Those great memories will live on forever. So thankful for her, and for her beautiful family that she brought forth. Well done, good and faithful servant.Sending love, hugs and prayers to the family. xoxo
May she Rest in Paradise.
Lighting a candle for her and arranged to have a Mass said for her. Love you Laura. May God continue to Bless you.
Laura was fun, vibrant, and creative, and I have so many good memories of her! She was strong, smart and funny, and very, very good with people; she truly cared about her Women’s Center clients and worked hard to help them succeed. To Tracy, Rico and everyone else in Laura’s family, I offer my deepest sympathy.

I wanted to comment on the first time I met Ms. Laura. I first knew Tracy and Tonya, her Daughters, and through Tonya was spending Christmas with the entire family at Ms. Laura's home. She was so incredibly kind to me and so welcoming that any discomfort that I may have anticipated was quickly replaced with a feeling of comfort and joy. She was a big part of making that day a day that I will always remember. I am so sorry for the entire family's loss and want to thank them for sharing this precious, kind, incredible woman with me on that Christmas Day. I am here for any one or all of you if you need anything. My thoughts and prayers go out to all of you.
