Lawrence D. Johnson's Obituary
Lawrence D. Johnson was born October 9, 1962 to Rosie Lee () Johnson and Arvie Lee Johnson Sr., in Los Angeles CA. He graduated from John Muir High School in Pasadena, CA. He retired from faithful
service and employment with the Salvation Army after 20 years. Lawrence was an award-winning manager for the Salvation Army and garnered recognition for having the highest grossing store in the state. Lawrence was an avid sports car and sports enthusiast. His favorite teams were the Lakers and Rams.
Lawrence was preceded in death by his parents, brothers Rozel Wesley, Kenneth Wesley and Randal Wesley. Those left to cherish his memories are his
loving wife Sharon Johnson, sons Andre Mathis and Marcus Mathis (Cetria); grandchildren Mia Mathis and Jaylin Mathis; brothers Willie Wesley (Dina), Welton Wesley (Trudy), Richard Wesley, Arvie lee Johnson, Jr. (Patrice) and sister Tammy Wilson (John); along with a host of nieces, nephews and friends.
