Leonor Tenorio's Obituary
LEONOR VIRREY TENORIO peacefully answered our Lord's call to join Him in Heaven in the early morning of January 23, 2021. She was 89 years old and lived a full life surrounded by her loving family. She was married for 27 years to Rufino, a U. S. Navy veteran who served for over 20 years, until his death in 1980. She never remarried, instead she devoted her life in raising their 10 children: Noel (Leila), Alice (Jun), Cleo, Edith (Bill), Darla (Jet), Robert (deceased), Liza (Tom), Joy (Donnie), Sharon, and Reny (Lulu).
She is also survived by 17 grandchildren: Nave (Vivian), Neal (Caitlin), Rufino, James (Jamey), Joel, Janice (Steven), Joan (Patrick), Vincent (Leonora), Greta, Stephen, Krista, Holly (Mitch), Jules (Ryan), Mae, Jade (George), Mirabelle, and Anabelle; and 18 great grandchildren: Joley, Jordan, Autumn, Kennedy, June, Carisma, Victoria, Rufino, James, Joshua, Jireh, Chloe, Sebastian, Bella, Leyla, Emma, George, and Hendrix. Also grieving are her 6 younger sisters: Lourdes, Florencia, Teofista (Rufing), Elenita, Cherry (Rod), and Edna (Abet); a younger brother, Bayani, and all their families. She is fondly remembered as a very loving and devoted sister, mother, and grandmother, who loved to cook and fed everybody who entered her home. She had always seen the good in people, loved the underdogs, and thought that everyone deserves the benefit of the doubt. She always greeted everyone with a welcoming smile. Her unconditional love, her bright smile, and her beautiful face will be missed by her family and all the people whom she had touched in her lifetime.
