A great, caring and kind man. Unselfish and always looking to help others. An incredible friend. Chris Lane
Lico and I met when I lived in Fort Worth, Texas. It is with much sadness that I learn of his passing while updating my dedication page for Amber Hagerman. You were a very talented man, Lico. I thank God for our meeting.
I knew Lico during my UTA years in the early 1970s. It was only on this date that I sadly learned of his passing in the alumni magazine. His bubbly, outgoing, and fun-loving personality made him a strong presence on the campus. He appeared to be involved in many activities. A few years ago, I happened to come across his name somewhere on the Internet. I subsequently made a LinkedIn connection. In retrospect, I regret not staying in touch earlier on. Please accept my condolences and cherish his wonderful life. Jeff Baker, February 20, 2020
I knew Lico for over 40 years. We we're friends, and I will miss him. He was a unique man, with many talents which he used to better everyone who came in contact with. We lost touch in the last year. I regret not knowing he was ill. I have a lot of memories that I will treasure.
In my memory he was a proud father. He always believed the best in me. He was very supportive. Very complimentary. He always offered to be there for me if I needed him. I’m very sad that because of my health I couldn’t visit him at the hospital and I can’t give my respect to him at his funeral. I have special memories of him in my mind and I hold him close to my heart so we are never really apart.
I love you Dad. I miss you. XOXO
