Lisa Dawn Hartford's Obituary
Lisa Dawn Watson was born March 2, 1966, in San Bernadino, California, to the parentage of Ava Watson- Stokes and Ronald Stokes. She attended Kolb Jr. High School and Eisenhower High School in Colton, California, and relocated to Waco, Texas where she graduated at Waco High School class of 1984.
She worked at Paul Quinn College before starting her 30 year career at the City of Dallas. Lisa met Karl "with a K" Hartford in 1999 and wed in 2001. Lisa was a very strong and kind woman, with a keen eye for fashion, hair and interior design. She is known for her glam, gift giving, epic parties and endless ideas. Lisa’s earthly life brought much joy to so many people and now her transitioning to God’s next plan has left us deeply saddened but finds comfort in knowing that God’s will is never wrong.
Lisa leaves to mourn her memories: Mother- Ava; Father- Ronald; Husband Karl; Children- Kevin (Jasmine), JaLisa (Kendall); Sister- Gwendolyn; 6 grandchildren- Aniyah, Ja’Darius, Jaylen, Payton, Kevin and Kayla, and many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
