Malcolm Elliott Rollen's Obituary
Malcolm Elliott Rollen, 17, of Arlington, beloved son to Martin Luther and Freida Rollen, passed away peacefully on May 1, 2017, surrounded by his loved ones.
Malcolm was born on December 31, 1999, in Carrolton, TX. He attended elementary school in Grand Prairie, before transferring to the Mansfield School District. He attended high school at both Timberview and Lakeridge. Malcolm was currently a student at Lakeridge High School. He enjoyed gaming, cars, basketball, and spending time with family.
Malcolm was destined to be an orator. He took every opportunity he could to speak publicly about his love of God and family, often to the surprise and delight of those around him. He had a quiet demeanor, but possessed very deep thoughts about issues he felt passionate about. He was very concerned about the welfare of others; always offering acceptance and love to his fellow-man.
Malcolm was predeceased by his grandfathers, Freeman McKinzie, Sr., and Robert Rollen, Sr. He leaves behind his mother, Freida Rollen, of Arlington; his father, Martin Luther Rollen, of Grand Prairie; his sister Bethany Rollen, of Arlington; grandmother, Eloise McKinzie, of Fort Worth; and grandmother, Kathryn Rollen, of Kansas City, Kansas; as well as numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
