Maria Carreon's Obituary
Maria Carreon passed away peacefully in her home on September 19, 2016 in Mansfield, TX.
Maria de Jesus Carreon was born in Matamoros, Tamaulipas in Mexico to Guadalupe and Cipriano Vargas on May 5, 1959. She was a Christian believer and attended church on regular basis at the Centro Familiar Cristiano with her husband Francisco. Her love and passion for God changed her life and reading her bible was vital in her life. She also enjoyed spending time with her daughter Ruby which would consist of going shopping, watching chick flicks, or just eating out and having laughs. She also would love spending time outside in her sunroom and she tried planting roses in a garden but it never really went well, but that never stopped her from trying to bring beauty to her home. She loved helping raise her grandchildren and helped by taking them to school, being and participating at every event she could go to. Family was very important to her and she was also there for her loved ones till the very end. She was full of life, caring, grateful, and she will be missed by everyone who knew her.
Maria is survived by her husband Francisco J. Carreon, her son Francisco J. Carreon Jr. and his wife Nicole, her daughter Ruby E. Gonzalez, her Grandchildren Emmanuel Campos and Matthew Gonzalez, her brothers Guadalupe Vargas, Antonio Vargas, Armando Vargas, and Eduardo Vargas, her sister Juanita Pecina, and numerous other family members.
