Maria Alicia Flores Jasso's Obituary
Maria Alicia Flores Jasso, 73 of Alvarado Tx. was called home on September 21, 2021. Maria was born in Robstown Tx. to the late Andrea Pineda and Calistro Torres. After meeting the love of her life, she relocated to Dallas, TX where she continued her career in nursing. She had a very kind and beautiful soul. She loved to dance and enjoyed her love for Tejano Music. She was a big Saints fan and loved to be around Cowboy fans when the two rivals met on the field. Maria also had a love for plants and loved her dogs. She was a great cook and lived for family gatherings during the holidays, you could always find her in the kitchen cooking up her famous tamales and menudo. She was the true Matriarch of our family. We are thankful for the many years of love and laughter spent together; may she rest in eternal peace.
Maria is survived by her loving husband of 39 years Juan L. Flores Jasso, their five daughters, Yolanda Moncibaiz (Joe Moncibaiz), Sandra Chavez, Marisol Chavez Montoya (Felix Montoya) of San Antonio, Mercedes Chavez and Paris L. De La Rosa.
