Mario Alcazar Torres Sr.'s Obituary
Mario Alcazar Torres, Sr, beloved husband, father and grandfather, went to be with our Lord and Savior on September 23, 2017. He passed away peacefully at the age of 100, surrounded by his loved ones. He is survived by his wife of 61 years, Alicia Galvan Torres and their children Mario Torres Jr., Vicky Gonzales, Noah Torres, Alicia Orona, Samuel Torres Sr., and Ruthie Olguin. He is also survived by his children Graciela Torres and Fernando Torres, 29 grandchildren, 29 great-grandchildren, and 2 great-great-grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his son Antonio Torres. Mario was born and raised in Oaxaca, Mexico, and moved to Chicago, IL in the 40’s and settled in San Bernardino, CA with his wife in the 50’s. He was a great strong man, who always provided for his family, who always loved them unconditionally. He taught us the true value of family, and we will honor his life by being the strong family he created. The Torres Family Patriarch will always be loved, always be remembered, always be missed, until we reunite in Heaven. The family will be hosting relatives and friends for a pot luck on Wednesday, Sept 27 at 14 Woodland Dr. Mansfield, TX 76063 starting at pm.
