Marisabel Guiragossian's Obituary
Marisabel “Mari” Shomo, 28, sadly passed away in early October 2022 in Dallas, TX.
Born in Chicago on October 13th, 1994, she was the third child between Liliana White and Mark Guiragossian. With Guatemalan and Armenian roots, Marisabel was a beautiful mix of cultures.
Marisabel had a bright light shining inside of her. Her genuine willingness to help others and create a positive change in the world inspired everyone who knew her. She was a creative and deep thinker who enjoyed grappling with life’s most profound questions. Her writings were a raw self-expression of the waves of thoughts running through her mind.
Among her many talents, Marisabel loved to decorate. She had a great eye for interior design and a natural talent for transforming dull spaces into flowery wonderlands. Her unique style always stood out.
She also loved to draw, paint, hike, dance, and bead. She lived her life to the fullest, with no regrets. Although it was short-lived, her life was filled with enough thrill and excitement to last 10 lifetimes. And while her life was filled with many moments of happiness, she always maintained an authentic and candid sadness that reflected the bad she perceived in the world.
Her sweet smile, kind soul, and quirky sense of humor is survived by her husband Jason, father Mark, mother Liliana, stepfather Marc, grandmother Amparito, sister Madelin, brother Jorge, nieces Alina and Jocelyn, her many cousins, aunts, uncles, in-laws Dianne and Terry, and friends whose lives she illuminated.
In lieu of flowers the family would prefer donations to a fund for flowers, please contact Marc White or Liliana White for where to send donations
