Mark Lindsey Cox's Obituary
Mark Lindsey Cox aka Dealer passed away Sunday morning May 2, 2021 in his home in the arms of his loving wife surrounded by his grand sons.
Mark was born in Cedar Rapids. Iowa on February 1, 1958 to his mother Harriette Nicks. He was raised by his Mother Harriette and Step Father Claude Bryant and lived with them and his Sister Debbie in Texas. At the age of 25 he met the love of his life Lynette Dollar. Lynette had a 3 year old daughter Heather at the time and Mark raised her as his own. The 2 married on February 4, 1984 and had their son Travis together. They were happily married until his passing.
Mark was an entrepreneur and self employed most of his life. He always did everything he could to provide a great life for his family. Mark was also a member of Phoenix Motorcycle club for 12 years. He loved motorcycles, old cars, spending time on the lake and being with his friends and most importantly spending time with his family. One of his favorite things to do was tinker on his hot rods and motorcycles with his son.
Mark is survived by his wife Lynette, their Daughter Heather Sumrall and her three Sons, Isaac, Micah and Ethan - their Son Travis and his Wife Amanda and their two Daughters Brooklyn and Hannah. He is also survived by his Father Claude and Sister Debbie.
His Mother Harriette preceded him in death two years prior.
Following the Memorial Service, Family & Friends are welcome to gather for food and fellowship at VFW from 3pm-5pm
