Mary L. Brown, 83, passed away from this life into the Kingdom of Heaven on Saturday, January 13, 2018 surrounded by her loving family. Mary passed in Fort Worth following complications from cancer. Her bones needed to rest so her spirit could soar. Mary was a devoted mother and grandmother. She enjoyed traveling the world, spending time with her family, and baking her famous "Sunshine Cake". Mary was one of a kind, and precious to all who knew her. Mary was preceded in death by her husband, Roscoe Brown; father, Oscar Miller Sr; mother, Melvin Miller; sister, Ruthie Miller; brother, Oscar Miller Jr; and son in law, Walter Mathis. SURVIVORS: Daughter, Rosemary Brown-Mathis; sons, Ronald Brown Sr., and Terrance Brown; Sister, Dorothy Butler; Brother, Leon Miller; eleven grandchildren, Zoie Mathis, Savid Brown, Jessica Brown, Carmia Brown, TJ Brown, Teneisha Brown, Samine Brown, Christopher Brown, Ronald Brown Jr., DaShanay Brown, and Chiquita Brown.
