Mary Louise Sudik's Obituary
Mary Louise Sudik, 92, born in Sandy Ridge, Pennsylvania on May 28, 1931, and passed away
at Mansfield Methodist Hospital in Mansfield, Texas on April 8, 2024.
Mary was preceded in death by her parents, Ira H. and Ada L. (Kennedy) Moore; her thirteen
older siblings; her former husbands Edward Giese and Paul Sudik. She is survived by her
children; Hugh Giese (Judy), Allen Giese (Elaine), Dianne Flavian (Ed), Mark Sudik (Laurel).
She was a cherished grandmother to Jed Giese (Andrea), Daniel Giese (Shannon), Heather
Sanchez (Manny), Philip Wilson (Teri), Jessica Chavez (Freddy), Edward Wilson (Tiffany),
Jeremiah Giese. She was a loving great grandmother to twelve great grandchildren.
Mary resided in Niles, Ohio where she spent her time as a homemaker and then later took care of
others outside of the home while being a nurse’s aide at St. Joseph Riverside Hospital in Warren,
Ohio. After retirement, Mary loved spending time with her family, attending the retiree’s
breakfasts, reading, cooking for her family, and babysitting her great grandchildren. She was a
devoted member of Emmanuel Lutheran Church in Warren, Ohio, where she sang in the church
choir weekly and faithfully served her community by volunteering at the church’s clothes closet.
Family and friends are welcome to attend calling hours from 6:00-8:00 pm on Thursday, April
11, 2024 at the Mansfield Funeral Home 1556 Heritage Parkway, Mansfield, Texas 76063.
Services will be held at 1:00 pm on Friday, April 12, 2024 at Mansfield Funeral Home celebrated
by Pastor Charles Kuthe. Interment will be at Little Bethel Memorial Park in Duncanville, Texas.
