With heavy hearts and fond memories, we announce the passing of Michael Anthony De Maria, whose vibrant presence left an indelible mark on all who knew him. Born in Queens, NY, on October 12, 1987, Michael departed from us in Fort Worth, TX on February 25, 2025.
Michael was often the life of the party, known for his infectious sense of humor that could light up any room. Friends would say he had an outgoing personality and was someone you could always count on for a good laugh or a helping hand. He had a gift for making others feel seen and heard, a trait cherished by all who had the pleasure of knowing him.
After graduating High School, Michael made the noble decision to serve his country, joining the United States Navy in 2007. His dedication and bravery led to numerous accolades and medals during his 8 years of service, where he forged lifelong friendships and impacted everyone he met with his relentless spirit.
Michael's family was the cornerstone of his life. He leaves behind his beloved son, Angelo Anthony De Maria, who was his pride and joy and will carry on his legacy of laughter and kindness. Michael is also survived by his father, Michael Edward De Maria, his two sisters Gabrielle and Tabitha, a multitude of Aunts, Uncles, Nieces, Nephews, cousins, his former wife Christina and his mother, Valerie Darnell De Maria, who predeceased him, now welcomes him with open arms.
Though Michael has left this world, his legacy of joy and service endures. He will be missed dearly by his family, friends, and those he served alongside. Each of us will remember his laughter, courage, and boundless love, never truly saying goodbye but instead carrying his spirit with us every day.
