In 1982 I joined apostolic church in Ohio. Newly saved and I was 18 just married. I called Pastor Apostle to pray for me. He said pay your tithes and stop calling people for prayer.

Stunned by the advice;
I said I am already paying my tithe. He said you should be find.

I thought it was strangest hard advice but it taught me to endure hardness as a good Christian Solider, Pray for myself and others without ceasing. Read Bible. and Trust Creator more than the creatures.

Thank you for the hard lesson.

I was quite saddened to learn of Michael's passing. I will always treasure our discussions in Westlake, phone, text or poolside. Michael always was so dignified, full of integrity and absolute Godly in character. He was intentional in everything he did and I will always miss him but very glad I had the opportunity to share some life with him.

Blessings to the family and know Michael will never be forgotten and always loved.

I was a member of Pastor Michael O. Exum’s church in Cleveland Ohio, which was called the Full Gospel Evangelist Center. Pastor Exum was a mighty man of God. Condolences to the family.

Pastor Exum was a second father to me. I called him dad. On the very first day we met him, my husband and I started listening to ever Word that came out of his mouth. I grew up spiritually under him. It was God-ordained encounter that my husband and Pastor Exum had that led them to each other. Pastor Exum often shared the story. He was so filled with the Holy Spirit that even when you did not see him, you knew that he was there. He allowed God to humbly use him. He will be so missed.❤️❤️❤️ I am so happy to know that I will see him again.

I met Pastor Exum from Revivaltime Pentecostal House of Prayer in New York, where he would visit as guest. He was an anointed man of God who always encouraged us. Praise God for the fellowship and him with our family and friends eating, laughing and rejoicing. He's ran this race!
