When I met Patty back 2004, I thought she was dying. I sent her to the ER. When she returned the next day I realized she was fighting to live. Fighting to live for her husband Kenny fighting to live for her children Allyson, Hollyann and Joshua.
Fighting to live for her mom and dad Frankie and Terry.
Patty wanted to see her kids grow up and she did.
Patty wanted to see her kids get married and she did.
Patty wanted to hold her grand child and she did.
Patty fought her entire life to overcome a medical system that at many times failed her. But fought to the end she did.
And today she echoes the words of the second letter of St. Paul to Timothy “ I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith, now there is in store for me the crown of righteousness which the Lord will award me, and not only to me, but also to all who have long for his appearing”

Glad I had the opportunity to cross paths in life with Patty. She was a person that when you were in her presence she made you feel like you were worth a grand. She dearly loved her family and her Lord Jesus. Even though we have been miles apart she still stayed in contact thru FB. I think the past few months of my life has given me a glimpse of what her life has been over the past several years being chronically ill. And even being ill, she has been an encourager to me in the midst of my circumstances. She is my example to live by. Prayers for you Kenny and kids and rest of the family. May God grant you peace and comfort in the days to come.

God's Shekinah Glory, HIS Light, has shown through Patti's life all the years I have known her. Her witness to God's faithfulness has blessed my life and increased my trust in HIM. I am so thankful for HIS gift of love to this family when HE gave Patti to Kenny. She brought out the best in all of us. Praise God she is home! Whole and complete, she is without pain and suffering forevermore! I will see you again in God's timing. Mom Miller
