Nanny, where do I even begin... You sure are one of kind let's start there.. so many stories I could share however that would take days! When I was a little girl at our sleepovers I remember our morning McDonalds trips. Every time I stayed the night I knew that next morning my nanny was going to take me to get pancakes at McDonald's. It was just a given! So many memories were made at your house. Remember when you would get your hair done then put panties on your head to hold your curl? Yup... That is my crazy nanny!! What about when you won that huge TV from the McDonalds monopoly game!! I thought that was the coolest thing ever! We spent some good times at log cabin estates too! We would go to church with Big Daddy on Sunday mornings and pray we made it there!! Man, he drove fast! I sometimes think he is why seatbelts were invented... The first year or two I was dating Justin you called him Jason no matter how many times we corrected you.. still to this day we call him Jason just for a laugh. You had the best sense of humor but don't make her mad. Justin (Jason) still laughs about the story you told him when the bagger at the grocery store threw your ham in the bag or when that service repair man came to fix your refrigerator and you shook him and told him to get out of your house. Haha. Only my nanny... He is probably thinking what a crazy lady that was. He just didn't know not to push your buttons. Not only were you a wonderful nanny you were also a wonderful great grandma! Brooklyn and Jacob have memories of you too. You were there the day Brooklyn was born. What a special picture that is! When they would come over to visit they would put on a show for you and papa. You would just clap and cheer and they loved every bit of it! I still have my monkey puppet that squeeks that you bought me. I will keep it forever. Brooklyn brought it to me when I told her you had passed. She said mommy you will always remember your nanny here is your monkey she bought you. She loves you so much nanny! She told me that God and Jesus are hugging on you now and you are in a better place! Even though I know that's true I still miss you everyday! Love you forever-
Michelle.
Mother, from the time you gave birth to me, till the time Jesus called you to heaven. You have always showed me how much you loved me. I will always hold our special memories very close to my heart. We had so many, especially our camping and and our vacation trips. I still remember the hotel in San Antonio, it was so late and we were so tired we didn't even notice the pool had no water in it. But it didn't matter to us, we were all together. We always worked so hard at the lake lot's, and played just as hard. We laughed so hard sometimes I'd pee my pants. These are times and moments I'll never forget. I'm truly going to miss you. You are the best mom and nanny ever. Your loving daughter Kay
I met Pearlie while I was dating my husband Jack. She was one of the sweetest women I have ever met. She was a loving mother to her children and grandchildren. Whenever you went to Tommy & Pearlie's home she was the perfect hostess she always asked if she could get you something to drink or fix you something to eat. Pearlie you will be sorely missed but I know you are home now with Our Lord.

My beautiful nana not a day goes by that your not on my mind it was just like yesterday I was going to your house with momma and we would go to the store and every time you would always tell me to get something and if I didn't you would always get me something every time momma came home she would always bring a sack load of groceries and would always tell me nana sent you these. That just the type of person my nana was she would always put people before her no matter what no matter if u were family or someone on the street she would always try to help. I still remember when I was just a lil girl and I would always go over to your house and you would cook me chicken noodle soup and then we would go across the street to that little park or we would go in the back and I would run around with Nicholas while you and momma talked. I will always cherish those moments I had with you not I day goes by that I don't wish I could just see you one more time so I could hug you and just tell u how much I love you and to just hear your voice again.. But I know your looking down on me and momma smiling 💘 I'll be waiting for the day that we meet again my beautiful angel 👼❣️
I have known her for since I was 15 years old we have been neighbors since 1994. I could tell you all the great memories I had of her but I be writing for days, But I will tell you she was a very kind, caring, loving person. She always treated me, my husband, my sons and granddaughters like family. Her husband was her world. Her brat Pretty girl was her baby. To this day I am in shock she is gone. She was a very strong woman she still drove, cooked, cleaned and tend to her husband and doggy. My family and I will always cherish her friendship and the love she gave us ... I love you and I will miss you Pearlie Jernigan.
P.S hubby is going to miss her meatloaf !!!!
