Shawn and Tasha affectionately called him Uncle Cecil. We knew Uncle Cecil since we were born.
The Bible says to train up a child in the way they should go. This means more than just the biological parents, the spiritual community is also responsible for this training.
Uncle Cecil became our Pastor at Faith memorial Baptist church and as a teen mother he welcomed me and my new family with open arms with that smile that many of you are also so familiar with. Aunt Jackie and Uncle Cecil not only spoke the love of God over me and my family but demonstrated it to us. Uncle Cecil and Aunt Jackie encouraged us to step out on faith and use our gifts for God.
On behalf of the Johnson family we love you all and will continue to cherish the strong bond our family shares with yours.
