Richard Dale Sparks, 61, passed away at home in Arlington, TX surrounded by loved ones on November 22, 2023. Born November 5, 1962, Rick is preceded in death by his mother Essie Bright and Father Joe Dale Sparks. He is survived by his wife, Terrie Sparks, Son Jeremy Sparks (wife Jackie, children Jackson, Jameson and Juliette), Makenzie Kelley (Husband John, Daughter Amelia)and Megan Alspaw (Husband Alex, Daughter Ivy).
Rick went by many names and titles during his life- Son, Husband, Dad, Pop, Friend, Brother, Sparky and more. Rick was a finder- hole in the wall restaurants, adventures to places unknown and great deals on things he might need one day, Rick found joy in experiencing life.
A constant steady voice of encouragement and love to all who knew him, Rick lived life to the fullest even during the tough and painful times. He often encouraged us all to get out there and live this amazing life that God has given us. Rick will be missed beyond measure by many.
