Roderick Dwayne Jackson was born on February 7,1969 to Lewis and Cynthia Jackson. He accepted Christ at an early age. He was a member of Church on the Move, where he served faithfully as an Armour Bearer to H.L. Ivory and the First Family and he also served on the Parking Lot Ministry. He later united with Antioch Fellowship Missionary Baptist Church, where he was a faithful member until he received his wings.
Roderick was a proud graduate of David W. Carter High School, home of THE Carter Cowboys, Class of 1987. He played basketball through out his high school years. #FTH
Roderick was employed with the Texas Department of Criminal Justice in June 2008, where he worked at Stiles Unit in Beaumont, Texas. He later transferred to the Hutchins State Jail in March 2012, where he served until his health failed.
Roderick united in marriage to his "good thang" on November 1, 2014. They enjoyed spending time at sporting events, with family and just being together. Roderick loved and adored him some Nikki Jackson and their girls.He was a devoted husband and father.
Roderick will forever be remembered by his dedicated and devoted wife Nikki, his beautiful and loving children Brionna, Tiana and A'Yana Fields, his godson, Eric Proctor, Jr. (EJ), his parents, relatives and friends.
