Rodney Jackson age 52 of Dallas Texas departed from this world on Wednesday, May 5, 2021 at his home.
Rodney Jackson was born August 24, 1968 in Dallas, Texas. Rodney was preceded in death by his mother (Sandra Clark).
If you did not have the pleasure of meeting Rodney here are just a few words to describe him. He was a guy whose first love was God. He was truly a lively stone in the building during praise and worship. Rodney was good with his hands and enjoyed the great outdoors.
His family has so many colorful memories that we will forever cherish. Rodney could definitely make you laugh and had a mischievous smile. His greatest joy in life, was his son, Joshua and he always looked forward to spending time with him.
Rodney E. Jackson attended Justin F. Kimball High School in Dallas, TX. He went on to work for the City of Dallas.
Rodney is survived by his only son, Joshua Dorsey, of Dallas, Texas, his siblings; Lisa Swearinger (sister), Quentin Jackson (brother), Angela Galloway (sister) Rebekka Thomas-Patt (sister), Joanna Thomas (sister) and aunts, an uncle and a host of cousins.
At the family's request there will be no viewing or public memorial services held.
The immediate family sends everyone a special thanks for your prayers, flowers and kind words.
