Rodney Christopher Woods (March 25,1973- September 8,2022)
Rodney Woods was born to the parentage of the late Alton Thompson and Joyce Smith, in Fort Worth, Texas. Affectionately known as “Woodie” he attended Paschal High School. After graduating he went on to join the United States Army and served our nation for 21 years as a captain. During his years in the military Woodie was able to obtain his college bachelor's degree as well as his masters. After retiring Woodie joined the team at Trinity Metro quickly learning his new job and life roles while climbing the corporate ladder. Woodie was known for always wearing a smile when you saw him. He enjoyed working on his cars, worldwide travel, bowling and playing softball. He was very competitive but most of all he just enjoyed being with his teammates. Mr. Woods was preceded in death by his father, Alton Thompson. Rodney Christopher Woods is survived by his sons, Rhane’ and A’rmon Woods; Daughter Tierra Wilson; Mother Joyce Williams (Gorie Sr); his grandchildren and a host of family and friends
