On a august day in 2017, I had a memory to come forward again. A generous aunt named Ruby, making grilled cheese and ham and cheese sandwiches for me and my brother and sister to eat. Aunt Ruby had invited us to come over and watch The Wizard of Oz. Wow !!! she knew we had never saw that show in color. The Ruby Red Slippers she had spoke of was as pretty as she had said... On that sunday night, the kindness and love that she gave us was forever stamped in my heart..So august 2017 I looked aunt Ruby up on facebook to let her know the memory I had always carried about the RUBY RED SLIPPERS and the finger sandwiches, and I thanked her for all the wonderful things she shared, when she didn't have to.. May God bless each family member with the greatest memories of aunt Ruby, and the comfort of a perfect peace in all your hearts.
My aunt Ruby was an amazing women! She took me and my brother in at some really rough times in our life. The love her and Danny share was one of a kind forsure. They were an amazing couple! And amazing parents and aunt and uncle as well. I will always cherish my childhood memories I had with her. Rest in peace sweet Aunt Ruby! I love you dearly. Love Rhonda
