Sharon Jackson, 62, of Grand Prairie, TX, passed away on 04/30/2026.
She was born on 10/16/1963 in Dallas, TX to Daisy Garner and Burtis Burrell.
Sharon Jackson attended Bauder Fashion College from 1982–1984 and worked as an Operational Manager at Marshalls for 25 years. She was known for having a kind, nurturing spirit—loving, giving, selfless, family-oriented, fashionable, and proudly spirited with her signature phrase, “How about them Cowboys.”
She is survived by Daisy Garner (mother); Gregory Jackson (husband); Amber Jackson, Lanisha Jackson, and Denisia Jackson (daughters); Janae Plaisance and Tiffany Adair (daughters-in-love); DeMeryian Bibbs, Jai’Den Jackson-Dye, Amir Laster, Sir Hawthorne, King Hawthorne, and Tristen Laster (grandsons); Mary Kennedy (honorable aunt); Tracy Session, Jackie Don Session, Jackie Ray Session (brothers); Jennifer Johnson, Esther Johnson, Vanessa Emmitt, and Mona Thompson (sisters); and Madeline Douglas (sister-in-love).
She was preceded in death by Burtis Burrell (father) and Lester and Annie Session (grandparents).
