Steven "fig" Newton's Obituary
Steven "Fig" Newton, 42, of Alvarado, passed away June 24, 2010 in a local hospital.
A celebration of Steven's life will be held at 10 am Wednesday, June 30, 2010 at Alternative Funeral Services in the Gardens of Unity.
Steven was born February 23, 2010 in Sherman, Texas. He was a former employee of Frontier Bolt in Mansfield having worked there for over 7 years. He was a huge NASCAR fan and loved watching football. Steven was a member of Happy Hill Baptist church and always had a positive outlook on life. He was a very giving person and often texted people daily reminding them to have a good day. He had a special place in his heart for his wife and daughter and loved them dearly.
Steven was preceded in death by his mother, Gwyn Newton grandparents, and great grandmother, Edith "Grandma Edie" Hughes of Fort Worth.
Survivors: wife of 10 years, Jamilyn Newton of Alvarado; 10 year old daughter, Shelby Newton of Alvarado and father Everette Newton of Grand Prairie.
