Our sincere and heartfelt condolences to the families that were touched by this AWESOME LIFE. We’ve know Sylvia and family for over 60 years. She was a kind spirited person with a love for life, family and GOD ALMIGHTY. Now that she’s completed her assignment on this earth, she has moved into the promises of God that he has ordained for the true believers, The Children of God.
Tears will be shed. And, when you can’t say another word, God understands the language of tears.

I met Sylvia when I took care of her mother at Grandview Apts. In Grand Rapids. I learned to love both ladies very much and am so sorry they are gone. But I believe I will see them both someday.
You were my Ma-Syl, my only other mother after my momma passed away. You’re the cause of so many laughs, memories of Texas sheet cake, chicken feet, phase 10, scrabble, surprise visits, hour long goodbyes, the beauty of a quiet garden and so much love. Thank you for teaching me how to love each other, how to talk openly and honestly with each other, how to be ladies, prissy but silly at the same time. I love you. Kiss Jonesie & Leona for me! I‘ll see you in the stars and clouds.
