Tex used to come to my drop zone in Virginia back in the 70s so we have known each other for a long time. We were also both Viet Nam veterans so we had that bond. We were both from Texas and both moved back to Dallas where we got to skydive together and hang out. We had so much fun together. He was such a smart fun guy. I miss him dearly. I love you brother. Fly high Tex and rest in peace.
I worked for Tex in 2000 for several years. It was great working with him and Bear every day. His generosity and his kindness towards everybody in the office was truly felt and he became more than just an employer. He was truly a great friend.

I’ll always remember that day at the hockey game with Tex — we talked about Georgia-Florida football, jumping out of airplanes, and everything in between. From the very first conversation I knew we were going to be friends. He was truly a great man and an even better human being. I will forever miss you, friend.

I remember the first time I met Tex. we went to a Mexican food place there in Henderson. What struck me most was how everything seemed to gravitate towards him. He had a magnetic personality and we had a great conversation like we had known each other for years. I got the feeling that a lot of folks probably had that same type of interaction with him. He was a kid man with amazing stories. Sending my love to Annette and all that knew him.
