Thomas Milton Yates ll, known to friends and family as Tommy, left this life on Sunday, September 6, 2020. Tommy was born in Atlanta, GA, raised in Albertville, AL and had been a resident of Arlington, TX for 33 years. Tommy was known by his fierce love and had a huge heart. He was a sensitive soul and was known as one to give a stranger the shirt off his back if needed. He adored his boys and loved the years of coaching their ball teams. As one who loved big, he loved his Alabama Crimson Tide and he would say, Roll Tide Roll! He is at peace now, and until we meet again, he will be deeply missed.
He is survived by his fiancé, Cindy Wiley, and her daughter, Becky, his sons, Thomas Yates and Taylor Yates, and grandchildren, Greyson and Maya, a sister, Leesa Black (Jeff), a sister, Angela Yates, and a brother Wesley Yates (Tonya), his nieces and nephews, Landon Black, Amanda Black, Tillery Ruvang, Stephanie Ruvang, Brandi Ruvang, Wes Yates and Haleigh Yates. He was preceded in death by his parents, George and Shelbia Yates.
