Dear Mrs. Reeves and Family:
I was saddened to learn of Mr. Reeves' unexpected transition to his heavenly rest. I will miss seeing him. Although I did not know him well, I often saw Mr. Reeves in our neighborhood. He impressed me as "a quiet giant" of a man. Very tall, he always had a calm, gentle, and pleasant demeanor. He seemed to live on top of the world! The photos on his tribute wall speak volumes of his life and love indeed. May your hearts be comforted in knowing that your husband, father, grandfather, relative, and friend knew and served Jesus, the King of Kings and the Lord of Lords. Jesus said, "Let not your heart be troubled: you believe in God, believe also in me. In my Father's house are many mansions: it was not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you...that where I am, there you may be also" (John 14:1-3, KJV).

We are so sad to lose such a wonderful friend. Wendell was a kind and generous man of God who interacted with everyone with grace and willingness to help. His positive attitude and joyful smile are memories we will treasure. We will miss our wonderful lunches with you and Wendell, Agnes, and we are praying for you and your family to be comforted by our Lord and by the knowledge that Wendell is with Jesus in glory.

Wendell was such a leader of our Class of '69! I am so sorry for this great loss to his family and all the many friends he has made along his lifetime journey. We are so fortunate to have visited with him at our 50th Class Reunion back in September. May he rest in the arms of our God. and May God walk with you, Agnes, and his daughters and grandchildren. God is faithful, he will never leave you.
