William Cal Daves' Obituary
William Cal Daves passed away Wednesday morning, January 25th, 2017, following a courageous battle with Pancreatic Cancer. A Celebration of his Life will be held at Britton Methodist Church on Saturday, January 28th, 2017, at 2:00 pm.

Cal was born January 3rd, 1947 in Big Spring, Texas at Malone and Hogan Hospital to William Oliver Daves and Minnie May Lynn Hollis Daves of Glasscock County. He was married to Jo Elaine Carlile Daves on June 4th, 1966 at Trinity Baptist Church in Big Spring, Texas. Cal worked for General Motors in Arlington, Texas 30 years, retiring in 1997. He went on to retire from the City of Midlothian and Mansfield ISD.
He was preceded in death by his parents, two sisters, and one brother.
Cal is survived by wife Jo Elaine Daves, his brother Melvin Daves and wife Donna, of Lincoln, Nebraska, his Brother Allen Daves and wife JoAnne of Snyder, Texas, two sons, Nathan Daves and wife Brooke of Waxahachie, Texas, and Will Daves and wife Melanie of Kendalia, Texas, and by his grandchildren, Walton Daves of Kendalia, Texas, Cassidy Daves of Kendalia, Texas, Casen Daves of Kendalia, Texas, Jordan Daves of Waxahachie, Texas, and Lillian Daves of Waxahachie, Texas.
