William "Bill" Polk's Obituary
William “Bill” Polk passed away at home in Mansfield TX on Wednesday, February 22, 2017 surrounded by his family and into the arms of his Lord and Savior.
A private celebration of Bill's life will be held by the family.
Bill was born in Belton, TX on June 30, 1935 to William and Lillian Polk. He was an avid outdoorsman from a very young age and found pleasure and peace being among nature and wildlife. He loved to fish and hunt and spend time surrounded by his family. He graduated from Southwestern University in 1958 and had a long and successful career. He was a devoted husband and a loving father and brother. He was strong and gentle and loved deeply by all who had the honor of knowing him.
He was preceded in death by his parents and two sisters.
He is survived by his loving wife, Kaye; his son, Bill Polk and his wife Patti; his son Colby Cates and his wife Sarah Kay; his daughter Perri Polk; his daughter Kacy Santoscoy and her husband Jorge; his daughter Sara Hille and her husband Rudy; his sister Sandra Wooley and her husband Bill; his sister Charlsie Carr; and his beloved grandchildren, two great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
