Darl Monroe Keys' Obituary
ALVARADO -- Darl Monroe Keys, 67, passed away, November 27, 2013 at home surrounded by his loving family.
Visitation: 12-2pm Wednesday at Mansfield Funeral Home.
Funeral Service: 2pm Wednesday at Mansfield Funeral Home.
Darl was born September 12, 1946 in Electra, Texas to Oscar Monroe and Willie Etta Keys. He was a graduate of Duncanville High School, a veteran of the United States Army and was a former Dallas police officer. He loved working with his hands and was employed as an electrician as his final trade.
Darl has resided in the DFW area most of his adult life and enjoyed reading and the art of crafting. He will be deeply missed by his family and friends. He was preceded in death by his brother, Ronald Ray Keys of Jasper, TX and Sharon Ruth Fennel of Colorado Springs, CO.
Survivors: Sons, Timothy Wilkinson of Burleson and Richard (Laquitta) Keys of Alvarado; daughters, Sheree Keys of San Antonio and Melissa Keys-Allred of Fort Worth; brother, William Thomas Keys of Irving; sisters, Mary Etta Jones of Henderson, TX and Judy Elaine Sutton of Colorado; 8 grandchildren and many loved nieces, nephews and other relatives.
