Barbara Hall Parker
We were so sorry to hear of Nan's passing. We read it in the Mt. Pleasant Daily Tribune. Nan taught our oldest son, Jerod Parker, her first year at Chapel Hill and then taught our youngest son, Jonah Parker 4 years later. We couldn't have asked for a better Kindergarten teacher for our boys. She really poured her life into those children and got them off to a good start. They are both married with families of their own and both them and their wives have very successful careers. We speak of Nan often and wondered where she was living. After reading the obit, found that she lived just across town from Jerod and his family. I would have loved to spoke with her before her death to tell her just how much influence she had on our family. We hope this will be a comfort to you as you grieve your loss. May God richly Bless you all and give to comfort in knowing there are others who share your grief, but at the same time are rejoicing for her life of devotion. Her legacy lives on in the many lives she touched.
