Albert John Stubenrauch's Obituary
Albert Stubenrauch, 88, passed away on December 2, 2020, in Mansfield, TX. Al was best known for his sense of humor and love of life. He had a deep sense of love for his family and friends. He could be found on the golf course every weekend, Saturday mornings with his breakfast buddies and recently on any dance floor he could find.
He was born on September 23, 1932 in Cincinnati, OH, to Albert F. Stubenrauch and Mable Doughtry Stubenrauch. Al graduated from Dreher High School in Columbia, South Carolina. Attended Clemson University until he was called into service during the Korean War. Upon his honorable discharge from the US Army, he then went on to earn a Bachelor's of Science in Business Administration from the University Of South Carolina. He started his career as Carnation Project Manager in St. Joseph, Missouri. He continued to work for Carnation until his retirement in 1987. Al served in the Army during the Korean War from 1953-1955. He married Emily M. Boyelston on August 15, 1956 in Columbia, South Carolina. The couple had 6 children, Albert; Sheryl; Janice; Kay; Kendra; and Kristopher. After Emily's death in 2003 he married Lois Sullivan who passed away in 2016.
Al is survived by his sister, Elaine Bonner Kizer, brother, Bobby Stubenrauch, son, Albert F. Stubenrauch, daughters: Sheryl Gardner, Janice Davis, Kay Tamakian, Kendra Arnold, grandchildren: Shawn Carroll, Kasie Rhode, Alicia Stubenrauch, James Tamakian, Matthew Tamakian, James Arnold, Ryan Arnold, Justin Arnold, Brayden Arnold, great-grandchildren: Emily Rhode, William Rhode, Alex Rhode and Holden Bigham.
Al is preceded in death by his parents Albert F. and Mable Doughtry Stubenrauch, Emily Boyleston Stubenrauch, wife of 48 years, Lois Sullivan Stubenrauch, wife of 12 years and his son, Kristopher Stubenrauch.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 2 p.m. on Wednesday, December 16, 2020 at St. Jude Catholic Church, 500 E. Dallas St. Mansfield, Tx. Private burial will be held following the service at Calvary Catholic Cemetery, Mansfield, TX.
