Condolences to all who knew him. Coach T. was my supervisor and hired me to my position as Bus Driver for AISD. My first mainstream job in about 10 years. I recall once after a route he called me into his office: "... shut the door." I was terrified that I'd done something wrong. I couldn't remember what it could have been. "Ms. Belz, i just wanted to thank you ..." there was more, but it's the first job of my many to have been called in for such positive news. I was glad to have worked with him.
I am so sorry to learn that this earth has lost such a caring soul. I worked with Charles and we became good friends. He was as solid a person as anyone I’ve ever known.
Coach T was such a kind and caring man, and you could see his love for Jesus shining from him.

Reggie was so sweet anf caring man that truly loves and lived for Jesus. Often he prayed for me through tough times with school and work and just being there for me and my girls and I needed a little bit more encouragement to get me through a difficult time. To be absent from the body is to be present with the Lord and I know you are having a glorious time. May you be forevermore remembered by those of us that love you and I pray that you rest in peace. God bless your family during this time.
I just saw you back in May and the smile and humble demeanor was still the most evident thing about you. I am so grateful to have called you friend. Thank you for those years of helping with the young men of Blue Raider Football. God Bless you Charles Gods Speed to Glory. A life well done!
Reggie T...man...I had just text you this morning to see how you were doing. Because I hadn't received a return text like I usually do, I decided to call. No answer. I decided to search your name to see if maybe you had changed your number and the obituary popped up. I'm saddened, but I am also happy because I KNOW how much you loved The Lord and we OFTEN talked about the joyous occasion when we would get to 'go on home' and see Jesus. NOTHING brought you more joy than the idea of being in His Presence! Well...you MADE it, Brother!! To Almighty God be ALL the Glory! I'll see you on the other side, my Friend!!
Charles is and was a true friend. Even though he is no longer with us physically., he will always be in my memories.
He is an outstanding individual.
