Clifford Lee Krueger's Obituary
In Loving Memory of Clifford L. Krueger
Clifford L. Krueger, age 75, passed away peacefully at home in Arlington, Texas, on February 11, 2026. He was born on September 28, 1950, in Dallas, Texas. His life was marked by hard work, resilience, and a deep commitment to providing for his family. Like all people, Cliff was not perfect, but he worked hard, lived fully, and left a lasting impact on those who knew and loved him. While still in high school, Cliff attended trade school and began a lifelong career as a truck driver, spending 53 years behind the wheel. He started as a Coca-Cola delivery driver and eventually retired in 2017 from RL Carriers after decades of dedication and reliability to the industry. The open road was not just his livelihood but a reflection of his independent spirit and determination. Outside of work, Cliff’s hands were rarely still. He was an avid handyman who found joy in building, repairing, and improving whatever needed attention. He loved working on cars and took pride in creating with his own two hands, including building two rooms onto one of his homes. During years spent living in the country, he hauled gravel to fill holes in neighborhood dirt roads, quietly helping others without expecting recognition. His children grew up in a world shaped by his curiosity and energy, filled with motorcycles, mopeds, and a lively small farm with goats, chickens, rabbits, a notoriously mean turkey, and a horse. Some of their most treasured memories were motorcycle rides with their father and accompanying him on long-haul trips, seeing the world from the passenger seat while sharing time that would last a lifetime. Cliff was a loving father and father figure, raising and guiding his children and embracing those who became part of his family along the way. He carried a wonderful sense of humor, marked by quick wit, sarcasm, dad jokes, and a deep-bellowing laugh that those who knew him will never forget.
Cliff is survived by his children, Melanie Krueger, Beverly Oviedo, Sandra Krueger, and Deborah Nothdurft; grandchildren Jerahmey Krueger (Jessica), Brittany Jernigan (Roy), Ruben Oviedo (Stephanie), and Rachel Oviedo; and great-grandchildren Athena Krueger, Iris Krueger, Leevi Clark, Raidyn Clark, Creed Clark, and Ruben Oviedo, Jr.
Cliff will be remembered as a man of interesting faith, strength, humor, and steady hands, someone who showed love through action more than words. Though his absence is deeply felt, his family takes comfort in knowing he has gone home to be with the Lord. They hold close the promise that love does not end, but continues beyond this life.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Alpha Omega Hospice in appreciation for the compassionate care provided during his final journey.
